Martina Jaeckel, MSc, (Clinical Psychologist, RPsych #2809, AB).  Psychological Associate , Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences (CITIS) Counselling Services.  Martina is a graduate of the University of Vienna, Austria with a Masters of Science degree (with honours) in Clinical Psychology, and is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta. With over 20 years of experience working in psychiatry, the federal and provincial forensic sector, crisis intervention, and in private practice, Martina has developed sound expertise in psychological assessment and treatment of various mental health issues.
Her focus is on assisting clients who deal with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, stress, betrayals or changes and transitions of any kind. Kim Haxton, BSc. BA,  is Potowatomi, born on the Wasauksing First Nation Reserve in Ontario. Kim worked for Rediscovery International for 17 years, combining traditional indigenous and ecological knowledge into wilderness based leadership courses.  For nearly 20 years, she has been studying with various Traditional Healers and indigenous cultures from Canada and the United States, Nepal, Thailand, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Belize,  and Haiti; where Kim  joined Dr. Beth Hedva, then  Director of the Canadian Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention, as a Ceremonialist and art therapist just after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Kim’s work in Haiti included the training of 275 front-line workers in a 5 step  emotional healing and trauma recovery model.  Currently Kim works enabling leaders towards Living Deeply and Engaging Precisely during this decisive decade. Her experience in catalyzing trans-disciplinary teams working on progressive projects (program design, non-violent communication, conflict resolution, de-escalation, diversity and anti-oppression training) She has been developing an ecological systems approach to helping organizations and individuals understand how their teams can evolve, learn and prosper. Dr. Beth Hedva, Director of Counselling and Training, Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences (CITIS).  Dr. Beth Hedva is a Registered Psychologist, Alberta #3212; Licensed Psychologist (NWT # 2250); a Canadian Registered Marriage & Family Therapist, AAMFT #69225, Canadian Registry and Licensed as a Marriage, Family and Child Counsellor, CA, BBSE# MFT MA18470. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, MA Clinical Psychology, MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and is also trained in medical hypnosis and sexolgy and holds California State Board Certifications in both these specialties. Dr Hedva also is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology, certified by the American Board of Psychological Specialties.

Former Chair of Continuing Education for (and a Director of) the International Council of Psychologists, Dr. Hedva  developed and teaches the Embodied Awareness Facilitator Certification Program at CITIS.    Before leaving California to make her home in Calgary, Canada, Dr. Beth Hedva was a core faculty member in both the Department of Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, and Department of Transpersonal Counselling Psychology at JFK University, and she currently retains herAdjunct Research Faculty appointment in California’s Institute for Transpersonal Psychology’s Global Program.  Dr. Hedva’s unique instructional and experiential training approach blends both ancient and contemporary cross-cultural spiritual healing traditions with emerging breakthroughs in psychology.   Telephone: 403.247.1441
